The aim of thesis is realisation of strength analysis of external fixator for a leg. Effort is determination of strength assessment and potential optimization of its production. It means reducing of weight and production costs, while the mechanical properties will be preserved. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy of the human body with a focus on the leg bones. The problem of bone fracture and their treatment is dismantled here. The theoretical part ends with a summary of osteosynthetic instruments and companies, which offers external fixators. The practical part is focused on strength analysis of external fixator. First calculations include only one ring of fixator. Next analysis includes all parts
