Application for Image Dataset Development Suitable for Biomedical Purposes

Abstract

This thesis presents a web-based application designed to simplify medical image segmentation, specifically for cell image annotation. The system streamlines the process of project management, collaborative labeling, and annotation to support biomedical researchers and non-expert users. It also integrates the U-Net model into the segmentation. By providing an accessible alternative to existing tools, the application improves usability and efficiency in developing biomedical datasets and lays the foundation for future improvements.
