Experimentální analýza a vizualizace proudění přes škrticí ventil

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of mineral oil flow through a throttle valve and the occurrence of cavitation. The literature review focuses on cavitation phenomenon, its adverse effects in hydraulic mechanisms, and hydraulic components used in circuits. In the hydraulic laboratory, a stand was designed and assembled, on which an experiment was conducted to determine the static characteristics of the throttle valve. Two methods were utilized to determine the displacement of the throttle valve and the size of the flow area: mechanical and optical. The oil flow on the valve was captured by a high-speed camera. The measured data during the experiment were graphically evaluated, and the captured images showing cavitation were visually compared.
