Abstract
Master thesis is dealing with economic milling of planar surfaces with tools with setting angle Kr = 45° for materials of groups ISO P, M. Analysis of current variety of tools and inserts of Dormer Pramet against a competing companies. The main part deals with the comparison of durability and functional test focused on surface roughness of the newly designed geometry against the competition. The last part is focused on technical and economic evaluation.
