Abstract
The dissertation deals with analysis of heat and momentum transfer in a thermal system for organic material conversion, as well as, with connections between process conditions and quantity and properties of outputs of the system. The objective is a comprehensive research of energy parameters of experimental system and its evaluation with the relating design of reactor heating. Some knowledge is generally applicable for conceptually similar designs.
Firstly, the work is aimed at the statics of burning process in a pyrolysis furnace to create an essential design and calculation of gas burners order. It is followed by results of relating experiments presenting useful information about process parameters of the experimental system. The data are important for further analysis of heat sharing and flowing in the furnace.
The topic of heat transmission and burning kinetics is solved in the details. First part consists of analytical calculations of heat flows, heat balance and efficiency derivation. The following part applies numerical methods supported by computational fluid dynamics to analyze the processes. Based on the acquired data, both attitudes are verified. The output is a general design for innovation and upgrade of thermal systems working with indirect heating to decompose the input material.
The last part presents results and findings of the research in the field of process’ condition optimizing in the view of properties, outputs quality and quantity, especially gaseous product.
