Vlivy zvyšování minimální mzdy na mzdové rozdělení v České republice

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is to identify, analyse and evaluate the effects of the minimum wage increase on the wage distribution for the period 2013 - 2020 in the Czech Republic. The source of the data used is the Information System on Average Earnings (ISPV). After descriptive analysis of the data, regression analysis of the dataset was performed. Panel data were analysed using the fixed effects model method. The estimated model was then split by decile range. The results showed that an increase in the minimum wage has an impact on the wage distribution of employees, especially on low-income groups.
