Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the monitoring of fuel consumption of diesel vehicles. The current methods of measuring fuel consumption of vehicles are analyzed, companies engaged in the measurement of fuel consumption are described and compared. The suitable method and system for monitoring fuel consumption with the technical and economic evaluation was selected for one, chosen, company. A suitable system for monitoring fuel consumption for the selected type of vehicle was chosen according to analysis of available technologies. Measurement of tank with an additional level gauge from the company CDS by pressure probe LMK 385 was chosen as the best solution.
