Abstract
The Master Thesis deals with setting and verifying the communication among the OSLO hardware simulator, the operator panel and the ABB controller of the AC500 series. It is complemented by testing signals from the hardware simulator. The hardware simulator is controlled by the created program, complemented by regulation task. The first part of the Thesis is theoretically described the software Control Builder Plus, which forms the structure of the communication input / output cards connected to the CPU AC500. Then, there is the CoDeSys software, which is used to program different types of tasks according to customer requirements and it is one of the main pillars of a functional project. Then, next software used in Control Builder is called the Panel Builder. It helps create visualization on the enclosed ABB CP600 Series panel. The theoretical analysis continues with the description of the control elements used in this Thesis, including the OSLO hardware simulator, on which there are demonstrated and illustrated the testing tasks. The practical part consists of testing communication among all elements. The main goal is to create a simulation task that will simulate the behavior of a hardware simulator and create test tasks to verify the simulator's functionality. Finally, the behavior of the hardware simulator with the proposed simulation program is evaluated and compared.
