The bachelor thesis deals with the selection of a suitable powerplant for unmanned system used to measure pollution in ground layer of the atmosphere. It also deals with selecting appropriate data communication for transmission of measured meteorological variables and the video signal from the plane’s camera. The work also addresses the selection of technologies that would ensure this communication. The outcome of this work is the fitting of selected powerplant unit into UAV, fitting selected communication technology and ensuring proper data communication.
