Abstract
The dissertation deals with the methodology of creating and verifying a material model of 3D printed composites. The introduction describes the history of composite materials, manufacturing technologies, and the future of composite materials. The next part of the dissertation presents the theory of composite materials. Based on this theory, a procedure is established for obtaining material data and parameters to determine the properties of individual layers. The subsequent section discusses the definition of sample shapes and the measurement process. From the measured data, a material model was created, which was compared using finite element method (FEM) simulations and experiments. To validate the material model, analysis and testing of more complex material compositions were conducted to verify the failure theory. The presented procedure is suitable for defining any composite, especially 3D printed composites. The results of the dissertation contribute to further research on 3D printed composites.
