Abstract

This diploma thesis mainly solves questions about quality control of XDS pumps. The initial chapters of thesis are dedicated to introduction of vacuum issues. Obtained information are mainly applied at the evaluation of XDS pumps with competitive products. Furthermore the thesis deals with an application of vibrodiagnostics on XDS pumps. Beside practical measurements of the pump, a theoretical analysis of possible failure rate was made as well. An attention is also given to current system for measuring vibration on the production line and its possible improvement. The measurement of vibration is complemented on the acoustic measurements in hemi-anechoic chamber in the end of diploma thesis.
