Druhotné využití práškových materiálů aditivní výroby

Abstract

The master thesis deals with the methods of processing waste powder from PA12 technology in SLS. The introduction describes a comparison between additive manufacturing and conventional production, along with a brief history. Subsequently, the manufacturing technologies of polymer powders for laser sintering are described, as well as the mechanisms causing powder degradation and the generation of waste in this technology. Furthermore, analytical tools for determining the material properties of polymer materials are explained, including computational methods. Research of the current state of recycling the used PA12 powder material was conducted, along with specific case studies. One of the possibilities for reusing waste powder in additive technologies is the extrusion of filament for FDM/FFF technology. Therefore, it was necessary to present certain solutions of the extruder from both a design and application perspective. The objective of the experiment was to verify the possibility of extruding filament using a low-budget extrusion device with waste PA12 powder as the input material and to analyse its results.
