Zaměstnanecké benefity a jejich analýza u vybraného zaměstnavatele

Abstract

The submitted diploma thesis deals with employee benefits offered by a particular employer and analysis thereof. The thesis aims to familiarize a reader with relevant legislation and to analyze status quo of the employee benefits offered by the employer as seen by their employees. The thesis also introduces ideas that are supposed to help the situation in society. The theoretical part of the thesis firstly outlines fundamental features of the benefits, including their history and the relevant legislation. The following part is dedicated to distinguishing among the benefits based on various criteria, that include the financial criterium, the way of distribution thereof, and the criterium of advantageousness. Furthermore, this part also addresses the motivation aspect and its impact on creation of the benefits. There is also a segment dealing with the economic aspect which views the issue of the benefits based on the aspect of taxes and thereto relating risks. Even the strategy that the employer should opt for in order to achieve the stipulated goal is subject to further consideration. The last part of the theoretical part deals with the benefits financing and listing of the benefits that are the most common in the Czech Republic. The practical part analyzes the employee benefits as offered by the given employer. The analysis stems from the information gathered by observation and from the filled-in questionnaires. The analysis entails description of the employer, the employees, and the assumed development and the goals established by the company. The following part further addresses the benefits and the outcomes of the questionnaire survey which are relevant for the last section of this part of the thesis. This part of the thesis evaluates the situation and thereto relating change that might be achieved with the help of synthesis and that may contribute to the employees’ satisfaction with the benefits. The changes themselves are addressed in the recommendations and thus, fulfill the aim of the thesis.
