Abstract

This work highlights the importance of funding for active employment policy from the European Social Fund. With the help of the Operational Program Human Resources and Employment funding is covered by the wage funds pay for public service. This is saving the state budget and possible parallel transfer to cover other functional tools. Use of funds from European Union structural funds is an important step towards achieving the objectives of the national employment strategy. EU funds are an instrument for implementing the policy of economic and social solidarity in the European Union, which is aimed at reducing difference between level of development of regions and EU Member States and the degree retardation of the least favored regions
