This bachelor thesis is dealing with the issue of determination of an average temperature of gases on the boiler output. In the introductory part are shown the reasons why it is important to have readings on average temperature in large sized chimneys. Next part contains information about measuring devices for gas diagnostics and explanation of their principles. The second half of thesis is dedicated to design of measuring points needed for determination of an average temperature. In this part, the design of the whole system for contionous measurement of gases that is able to enter the data into a computer, is described. The ending is dedicated to financial aspect of the design. The last part contains evaluation capital expenditure necessary for realization of whole designed system.
