Aplikační oblasti PVD povlaků u řezných nástrojů ze slinutého karbidu

Abstract

The bachelor thesis evaluates and compares PVD coatings produced by company Pramet Tools, s.r.o. based in Šumperk. The theoretical part of the thesis informs about principle of PVD coating technology and describes the arc evaporation method used for coating in greater detail. It also deals with coating materials and types, its properties, possible applications and finally principles of the experimental methods used for coatings testing are explained. In the experimental part of the thesis the measuring or testing procedures are described and its results are listed. In the thesis conclusion the testing results are evaluated on the basis of obtained information.
