Automatická lezecká stěna

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of an automatic climbing wall. The introduction compares the available technologies that are already present on the market. Based on a comparison of various approaches, a concept of a climbing treadmill for use in common residential spaces is proposed, featuring an adjustable overhang angle ranging up to 25° from the vertical axis. The device is designed as an endless belt with standard climbing holds and includes the option to regulate climbing speed. The thesis describes the individual components of the device, such as the motorized belt drive, tilting part and overhang angle adjustment. Furthermore, the work supports the design with calculations for critical components. The device is depicted in the drawing documentation included in the enclosure of the bachelor thesis.
