Abstract

The thesis examines the possibilities of immediate repairs of damaged pressure pipe systems without the need to shut down the entire system and subsequent disassembly of the damaged segment and complicated repair, or replacement piece for piece using special technologies of bandaging. In the theoretical part are explained basic concepts related to pipe repairs using bandaging by Quick Wrap and Loctite technologies, their characteristics, application procedure, physical and chemical properties. In the practical part is the presentation of individual samples, their preparation for performed experiments and description of the experiments themselves. The conclusion is focused primarily on the evaluation of all experiments performed on both samples. After an overall evaluation of all experiments performed on both samples, a recommendation will be issued on the suitability of using the individual examined bandaging methods to repair damaged pressure pipe systems.
