Abstract
Thesis deals with design of forged gate valves according to technical and operational conditions. Technical description and description of the use of forged valve is included in introduction of the thesis. There is included design and design calculation in following chapter. Thesis also contains finite element analysis of the valve using software SolidWorks Simulation 2011. Drawing, manufacturing drawing and assembly drawing is included in annexes.
