Abstract

The theme of this diploma thesis is strategic analysis applied to a small company that trades on the Czech toy market. The theoretical part discusses the fundamental concept of strategic management and various types of business strategies. Furthermore, this section describes the basic concept of strategic analysis, including its division and several methods used for external and internal analysis. The practical part contains an strategic analysis of the Hračky firm, which includes all internal and external influences that have an impact on the investigated company. Several methods as PEST, 5F model, analysis of internal resources and SWOT analysis were used in carrying out all the parts of these strategic analysis The outcome of this work are three strategies based on the results of the strategic analysis that the company can use to improve their current condition.
