Efektivní obrábění titanové slitiny nástroji s rektifikovaným ostřím

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with issues effective machining of titanium alloy Ti6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo uncoated interchangeable cutting inserts from sintered carbide from Dormer Pramet, ltd. In the introductory part the thesis deals with machinability, titanium machining technology and production of cutting inserts. The experimental part of the thesis deals with the choice of cutting conditions based on the durability of the cutting tool. The work was carried out at the VŠB – Technical University Ostrava premises. The final part assesses the achieved results by comparing them with recommended manufacturer's cutting conditions.
