Abstract
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the topic of additive manufacturing and testing of down-skin parameters produced by this method. In the introduction there is described the SLM technology for printing metal 3D items. Further there are properties and the use of the 316L stainless steel from which experimental samples were made of. This is followed by an introduction to various types of 3D printing regions. Then there are described print parameters which affect the manufacturability of down-skin surfaces. Among these parameters belong laser power, laser scanning speed, spot diameter, layer thickness, hatch distance, scanning strategy and tilting angle. In the experimental part input parameters of laser power and laser scanning speed were being tested on various samples. In the conclusion there is found out the best and the worst sample based on displayed results.
