Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the mikrogeometry of sintered carbide cutting tools and their modification of the cutting edge. The first part describes the manufacturing proces of cutting inserts and their geometry. Second chapter is devoted to mechanical preparations of tools cutting edge. Experimental part was realized in the company Dormer Pramet Tools, s.r.o. and attention was focused at mechanical cutting edge preparations testing and subsequent evaluation of proces time, surface roughness and achieved K factor.
