Abstract
The goal of this Master thesis focuses on the design and production of a spiral wheel with an eccentric-cycloid transmission mechanism. In the introductory part of the work, research on the issue of various types of transmissions with large transmission ratios is described. The principles, advantages, disadvantages and efficiency of cycloidal gearboxes are described here. The creation and modelling of cycloidal curves and contours is described in the second part of the thesis. On the basis of the entered values, a spiral gear design with an eccentric-cycloid transmission mechanism was developed. In the third part, there is a proposal for the production procedure of the shaped part, which deals with the choice of machines, material or semi-finished product. The work also includes programming of tool paths using CAM software WorkNC, where individual strategies, tools and cutting conditions were determined. At the end of the thesis, there is an overall technical-economic evaluation, both in terms of time and money. There is also an evaluation of the component based on the measured values and their assembly in the transmission mechanism. This mechanism will serve as a useful demonstration for the Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology.
