Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis describes the process of production in the given company. It focuses specifically on the pre-assembly workshop and describes the use of several methods to analyze the current situation in this workplace, where a new product is being introduced into production together with new manufacturing processes. Simultaneously, this thesis focuses on the theoretical bases of the assigned task, analyses the entire situation, and explains the use of methods using real-life examples. It also sets the goals and evaluates whether these goals were achieved. Also, it determines any potential risks and proposes new changes to the product range. There is also detection of new defects within the manufacturing process, together with the identification of their causes. Finally, it evaluates the benefits of new proposed changes as well as outputs of analyses provided.
