Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to design the most appropriate setup of the newly founded public transport company’s fleet by using economic evaluation for 10 service years and multi-criteria evaluation. Thesis is divided into 6 parts. The first part is devoted to the history of public transport, next part deals with current state of the public transport in the city and possible fuels or drivetrains for city buses. Third and fourth part deals with previously mentioned economic and multi-criteria evaluation and the last two thesis parts are devoted to final assessment and conclusion.
