Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on improvements in the area of material storage in the company. The aim of the thesis is to propose options that will facilitate the process of receiving and dispensing material. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the basic concepts that can be encountered in the practical part. In the practical part, there is an analysis of the current state of the company, specifically in terms of storage and warehousing. It is about identifying the shortcomings that are a prerequisite for developing proposals that will bring the company a new perspective on improving this important process. The work included a proposal for the acquisition of barcode scanners, which were selected using multi-criteria decision making.
