Abstract

This thesis is deals with issue of choice an appropriate heat treatment after making welded joints of P92 steel. Appropriate heat treatment is chosen by analyzing the influence of heat treatment on mechanical properties of these welded joints. The essence of the experimental part was to make testing joints of P92 steel by welding technology thickness 18 mm and apply them to different heat treatments. Additionally, these test joints weere subjected to non-destructive and destructive tests in accordance with relevant regulations. The main attention was paid to the results of destructive tests, such as the transverse tensile test, charpy impact test and control of hardness. Results from these tests of mechanical properties were compared with the results of previous experiments dealing with identical issue and was evaluated as the most appropriate post weld heat treatment.
