Abstract

The thesis focuses on the design of a progressive press tool for the production of tie-down hooks for the cargo area of Ford vehicles. The part will be manufactured on a KSTU 4000 press. The thesis starts with an introduction that introduces the cold forming technology and its division according to the forming operations in the progressive tool. In the practical part, two variations of the cutting plan were proposed with the selection of the optimal solution, from which the overall tool design was created. The work also contains a detailed description of the proposed design of the progressive tool and is accompanied by technical documentation in the appendix.
