Abstract

The dissertation thesis focuses on the current state description of commercial drive units, power supplies and means of energy accumulation for electric and hybrid vehicles. The thesis provides simulation models of selected power supplies and drive units created by Matlab® Simulink®. Special attention is paid to CityEL description, with regard to the components used and the phases of its modernization. The focus of the thesis is to create a simulation of the vehicle’s handling characteristics based on a real drive profile and the loading profile at the roller dynamometer. The thesis provides a comparison of simulation results and experimental results.
