Zjemňování zrna dvoufázové slitiny Mg-Al-Li tvářením metodou ECAP

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the results obtained during extrusion of magnesium alloy Mg-1.5%Al-9%Li in SPD conditions using the ECAP method, i.e. angular extrusion through a parallel channel. ECAP is a basic SPD method that has already been experimentally verified on many different types of material and the results demonstrate the significant effect of the method on grain refinement. In the practical part of the thesis, a comparison of the influence of the extrusion temperature of the analyzed alloy is made in terms of finding the temperature limits where no cracks are formed during extrusion by the ECAP method. A detailed analysis of the effect of extrusion on microstructural changes is performed for the selected lowest temperature.
