Abstract

This Thesis deals with regulation of temperature control of flue gas behind the boiler with regard to their dewpoint. The aim is to optimize the existing regulation with minimal costs. The essey contains a description of the boiler, the issue of flue gas dewpoint solution and new methods of direct measurement of flue gas dewpoint. Further the current regulation preheating combustion air is described and the alternative proposals. The parts of the thesis is the test of preheating combustion air shutdown with measuring of flue gas temperature decrease behind the boiler. Finally, the concept of optimal control of the flue gas temperature is presented with regard to efficiency and protection of boilers and parts behind boiler for low-temperature corrosion and technical evaluation of the proposed modifications.
