Abstract

The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the design and construction of the Handling Equipment for the line service. The topic of the thesis was provided by UJP Praha a.s. In the first part, the thesis deals with the research of the issue and a demonstration of currently manufactured competitive Handling Equipment. After determining the objectives of the work and the requirements for the design of the Handling Equipment, the thesis continues with a chapter on possible construction variants. After finding the most suitable solution to the design, the thesis follows with the design of the Handling Equipment itself. This part is devided into two sections: the part of strength calculations, which deals with optimizing the dimensions of the components used in the structure, and the second part dealing with dynamic calculations for the selection of suitable movement mechanisms and the selection of suitable motors. After processing the early structural design of the device, it was necessary to perform a control strength analysis using the Finite Element Method analysis (FEM). The Autodesk Inventor Professional 2021 software was used to perform the FEM analysis. After the strength analysis was completed, the results were summarized, and the overall evaluation of the design and construction was carried out. All the requirements for the structure, both from a strength and dynamic point of view, were met. The output of the bachelor‘s thesis is the design of the solution for the Handling Equipment, variant and calculation evaluation and drawing documentation according to the requirements of the assignment.
