BOLEK, D. Algorithm for Determination of Center of Gravity based on Measurements on Strain Gauge Platform: Bachelor Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Mechanics, 2017, 50 p. Thesis head: Poruba, Z. The main goal of bachelor thesis is to find an algorithm for determination of center of gravity based on measurements on strain gauge platform. The introductory part of this work contains a description of existing gadgets used in medical science and automotive industry that are able to measure the center of gravity. Main content of thesis is about creation of the algorithm and consists of two parts. In the first part, basic algorithm is created for the basic model of platform. In the second part, algorithm is created for the 3D model of real strain gauge platform. Functionality of the algorithm is verified using software ANSYS Workbench 18.0. Further, application in software MATLAB is created in order to make calculation of center of gravity simpler. Finally, application of algorithm is manifested on the fork-lift.
