Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with design of the coil positioning device with load capacity up to 5,000 kg, enabled rotation around horizontal and vertical axis and driven by an electric motor. The introductory part of the work is focused on search of existing solutions with description of the methods used for designing devices. The following chapter is devoted to the description of designed device with a description of its selected parts. In the final part you can find some control and design calculations of selected parts. Based on the required load capacity, drives are designed, gears, shafts and bearings are controlled.
