Abstract
My thesis deals with rationalization of boring of crank shafts flanges with utilization of CNC machine tools. The introduction of my work contains analysis of the current production, concrete groups of parts for which a CNC machine was selected and designed new technology of production. Based on production technology knowledge new suitable tools were designed and control program was worked up. The created control program constitues an enclosure of my thesis. The designed technology was compared with the existing production technology by means of basic economic indicators used in company VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY a.s..
