Abstract
Diploma thesis deals with the application of one of the management methods, which helps
to increase business competitiveness, the benchmarking. External benchmarking is applied
in the company Formplast Purkert, which manufactures injection molding tools and technical moldings. Benchmarking is involves comparing the results with the performance leader
in the industry, elaboration benchmarking analysis in the company and proposition recommendation to improving company situation.
