Abstract
The main aim of this diploma thesis was to analyse the territory in question through the lens of sustainable development. Another objective was to analyse both the textual and graphical parts of the currently valid Spatial Plan of Vratimov and to propose potential modifications, taking into account the requirements arising from the superior Spatial Development Policy of the Czech Republic (PÚR ČR) and the Principles of Spatial Development of the Moravian-Silesian Region (ZÚR MSK). The assessment and evaluation of the state and development of the area is divided into 15 thematic sections, which together form an analysis of sustainable territorial development.
