Abstract

The thesis is dealing with design of Sliding Bearing on semi-portal scraper. An introduction describes the stockyard systems and brief description of the stockyard unit. Then is described the location of the bearings on scraper and several possible variants of an applicable bearings is designed. Load acting on the bearings is counted in the calculation phase. Then checkup of maximal pressure in bearing is effected. The main objective of the thesis is to design new type of bearing, which replace current unfit bearing. In annex there are mechanical drawings of the bearings and pivot pins.
