Abstract

The thesis focuses on a construction of incinerator plants and rotary killn which is designed for incineration of low-activity radioactive waste, and whose part is a burn-out chamber. The introduction informs one about sorts of radioactive waste according to different points of view. It is followed by a description of processing of radioactive waste, methods used for cleaning combustion products and two alternative solutions of an incinerator plant. The theoretical part is followed by combustion calculations for waste and supplied gas, a plan of proportions of the incinerator plant and combustion chamber including heat transfer through the wall, and a choice of material for lining.
