Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of backed up fire protection system of Siemens company’s metro units and non-backed up fire protection system. The comparison of costs is going to be conducted from the point of view of preventive and corrective maintenance. The determination of reliability parameters will be done with the help of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). The output of this thesis will be the evaluation of costs and reliability of individual types of systems and their comparison.
