Problematika řízení zásob ve výrobní společnosti

Abstract

This thesis deals with the topic "Issue of Inventory Management in Production Company“. Processes of practical evidence obtained in the TECHNO Vyškov, spol. s r. o., focusing primarily on the production of plastic parts for the automotive industry. The thesis aims to assess the current inventory management system, identifies weaknesses and formulating proposals for improvement.

The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter discusses the characteristics of the company, it also includes a financial analysis. In the second chapter summarizes the theoretical background needed to produce a practical part.

The third chapter is in part aimed at understanding the supply system in the company, in its second part, the method of ABC, with which is the division of material items into groups according to the proportion of annual consumption, based on the Pareto principle. In the fourth chapter lists the deficiencies found in the inventory management system and proposed measures for improvement. The main recommendation is to introduce a new ordering system and calculate safety stock for the most important group of material items.
