Problematika svařitelnosti duplexních a austenitických ocelí

Abstract

The aim of the dissertation is according to the company PAPCEL, a.s. the manufacture of WPS for producing the headbox top lip, which is part of the paper line headbox. The part is made of stainless steel; several types of austenitic and duplex steel were designed for its production of which a more adequate material will be chosen. Part of the dissertation is the analysis of weldability of individual steel and weldability of heterogeneous joints which are created by combination of these materials. The next objective of the dissertation was to choose an appropriate welding method. It is dealing especially with the comparison of stainless steel weldability method of stud welding with other welding method. This method is suitable for certain type of product, so far this method has not been used in the company, and therefore it is necessary to verify the possibility of its use by performing weldability tests.
