Analýza mikrostruktury ocelových výrobků s pozinkovanou vrstvou

Abstract

Diploma thesis experimentally evaluate the effects of chemical composition, particularly the amount of silicon on the quality of the applied coating technology of hot dip galvanizing. The experiment is aimed to research the microstructure of specimens of different grades of steel with the toughness. Samples underwent metallographic evaluation, they were tested by GDOES and there were also measured differences in thickness of the coating. A complete summary and benefits of the experiment are given in the conclusion, which also evaluated the suitability of various steels for galvanizing.
