Abstract

This Diploma thesis deals with measurement and analysis of turning surfaces created by high-speed abrasive water jet technology. The introduction describes the development of high-speed abrasive water jet technology. In another part of the thesis is described the use of abrasive water jet turning technology, measurement methods of surface parameters (contact and non-contact methods), machines for measuring surface (their advantages and disadvantages) and subsequently parameters of the profile and surface roughness. In the experimental part is the analysis of the measured data and then evaluation of the samples in the program SPIP which were measured by an optical profilometer MicroProf FRT.
