This thesis focuses on a review of combined cycle systems and their effective integration into low-carbon energy sources. It also explores data processing, the development of validation models, and their implementation. The thesis discusses aspects of data quality, validation conditions, and the advantages and risks associated with data validation. The principle of validation tasks is analyzed through a case study of a combined cycle power plant equipped with a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). Various approaches to improving cycle efficiency are proposed, including the recovery of waste heat from flue gases and the optimization of stack losses. The study also includes the design and thermal calculation of a finned tube heat exchanger for effective flue gas heat utilization.
