Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design proposal of the engine bonnet for the W29 Riviera garden tractor by Wisconsin Engineering CZ s.r.o. The introductory part of the thesis presents a literature review of the historical development of tractor bodywork and current trends in this field. Based on the research findings and consultation with the supervisor, initial design concepts were created in the form of sketches, which were subsequently developed into 3D models. The software used for data processing and the creation of digital designs included Autodesk Inventor, Rhino 6, and Blender. For the final hood designs, a somatographic study was conducted to examine how the new hood shape influences the tractor’s usability.
