Abstract
This thesis deals with the influence of chipbreaker on vibrations during turning. The study was conducted with four types of inserts, which are identical, but had different chipbreaker. The vibration measurement was carried out in three directions. This work verifies the previous experiment, so the testing was done with the same conditions as in the previous testing, except for using another turning center. That mean, this thesis also evaluates the influence of the machine on the magnitude of vibrations during turing. The work includes comparison of vibration of individual tests with the values measured in the previous experiment to test the influence of the machine. Subsequently, for the current and previous experiment, the vibrations generated by the individual inserts are compared with each other to monitor the effect of the chip breaker on the vibrations during turning.
