Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a device for dry cleaning of plastic transport containers known as Euro boxes, which are commonly used in various industrial sectors such as electronics, food processing, logistics, and pharmaceuticals. The main goal was to design a technologically efficient and operationally cost-effective solution that removes contaminants from the containers without the use of water, thus enabling their application in environments where wet cleaning is unsuitable.
The thesis includes an extensive review of available cleaning methods using compressed air, including antistatic protection principles and various types of blowing and suction techniques. Based on a comparison of technical solutions, a comprehensive machine was designed, divided into four functional sections: loading, cleaning, inverting, and unloading. The design includes detailed mechanical construction and a pneumatic circuit, with parameters calculated and specified for practical implementation.
The contribution of this work lies in the proposal of a compact device that can be integrated into an automated production process and, thanks to the use of dry cleaning, reduces the demand for water, energy, and drying time. The results of this thesis may serve as a foundation for further development of the equipment or its direct implementation in practice.
