Abstract

The thesis engages in constructional modification of the movable crane for the purpose of simplifying it's construction and reducing time needed for it's assembly. The crane is primarily designed for building wind power stations. The thesis summarizes problems of building wind power stations and there is also the summary of requirements for cranes which build them. I dealt with force and stability calculations of the crane in more details. I designed a few possible solutions to simplify the crane's construction and to shorten it's assembly time. Every solution is verified with respect to the strength and deformation and it's use possibility is evaluated too. At last, I made a calculation of pressure which crane exerts on ground. I also calculated necessary dimensions of the contact plates.
